Ron Wagner

Music: OL - Buddha's Flower
Mood: ottmar'd

Just to get things going, I hold what I discovered not earlier than today. Ron Wagner, longtime percussionist of Ottmar Liebert's rubber band Luna Negra, has a past: in 1982 and 1984 he participated in the recording of four songs of the Strunz & Farah albums Mosaico and Frontera. That means, Ron was around when Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah started their common career and should therefore be able to tell us wether it was playing in the moroccan style or simple habit that made them use a pick for playing Spanish guitar.

P.S. My musical choice is motivated by the fact that I got a beautiful Buddha today from Nepal!!

  • Wow! And what did he play in Star Trek? A Ferengi? Gotta check it. Read something about Star Trek before but thought he was connected with the soundtrack. Now thinking of ST music, how could I? ;-)
